For us, being able to put on such a big show evening at EQUITANA means leaving our own comfort zone. Riding in front of thousands of people is one thing. But speaking and riding in front of thousands of spectators is something else entirely.
Top-level, amateur and leisure sports are just as much at home at EQUITANA as the various riding styles. What unites us all is the love of horses. That's why I would like to see everyone accepting each other more. That is the challenge for the next few years.
EQUITANA is a successful mix where everyone finds something for themselves. That's what I particularly like about this concept. This bringing together of different interests and disciplines is unique and ensures that everyone feels comfortable at the fair.
The special thing about the fair for me is the diversity. I think it's great that all breeds and riding styles come together here. It's great to discover the numerous innovations. I always meet lots of people, so coming to Essen is a bit like a holiday - an educational holiday.
My first impression of the fair is that everything is huge. The diversity is unbelievable. It's just really great.
