Stand design – please be aware of the official permits and deadlines that apply


Please ensure that you meet the official Guidelines and Regulations of Messe Essen GmbH Governing the Design of Stands at EQUITANA 2017. In order to comply with the technical guidelines, it is necessary to obtain prior authorization if your stand is higher than 3m tall, has two floors, or includes any specialized elements (such as a stage or closed ceiling etc.). Any constructions that have not been officially approved will have to be certified on-site by Messe Essen’s own structural engineers which will incur an extra charge.

All documents relating to the design of your stand must be in the hands of the organizer at least 6 weeks before the exhibition commences . You can find detailed information relating to the guidelines and required documentation in our Form R_03, available from our Online Service Center. 

ATTENTION: additional charges will be made for any documents submitted late or for any delays in processing resulting from incomplete documentation.

Your range on site: add your different products and goods categories to your profile free of charge


You can now add your products and the different goods categories you sell on-site to your exhibitor profile completely free of charge using our Online Service Center. This enables visitors to the exhibition to look up different categories of goods in our product worlds and learn about your products and services ahead of the show. Simply select the “Products” tab in our Online Service Center and upload a picture and description of your products. That way your customers can plan ahead and then make a beeline for your stand once they reach the exhibition. NEW for participants and exhibitors with horses: our Participant Registration Scheme


We would like to ask you to support us in recording and processing the data for all 2- and 4-legged participants in the show. We have developed a tool for registering and recording all participants and horses over the last year and would like to take this opportunity of introducing you to this system now. In recent years demands regarding the precise registration of all our participants have increased significantly, not least due to new Veterinarian Office requirements. All those people and horses participating now have to provide their name and complete data. Our new participant registration scheme is intended to help simplify and speed up processes on-site. 

We would ask you to register with our system using the following link and to complete in full all the necessary forms located there. This system is also used for booking accommodation for your horses, tack boxes, if required, as well as your participant wristbands. 

All horses participating in the Exhibition have to be named and have their Registration Number entered. You can process your data and add or change any people or horses on your list at any time up to 1st March 2017 . The data is stored in our data system and can also be used for later EQUITANA events. If you have any queries or problems, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Team EQUITANA. 

An important note regarding registration: please keep a record of your password in a safe place in case you forget it! Providing you with a new password is unfortunately a very complex process.
