„Riding in the truth“ is the motto of our special yard in the eastern part of south Bavaria. With Manuel Jorge de Oliveira’s instructions horses and riders are trained here. It doesn’t matter if it’s about a first evaluation of your horse or about the student’s skills in riding: de Oliveira teaches the art of “analyzing” – the capacity to really understand what happens when we ride by dedicating attention and immerging deep into the world of the horse.

Spectacular show tricks are never part of the lesson, but rather the question: “Is this exercise correct and useful for the horse and his health in that way? Is this training according to the horse’s level and musculature or does it even damage its body? Is this a good passage with real use of the back or is it mere negative tension?

Unique is our program of 3 years Escola de equitaҫão which enables its students to comprehend when a horse is really in balance and “well” ridden, independently from third parties’ opinions.

Our 8 school horses are another Highlight, all of them trained up to high school level and have really earned the title school horse in its original sense.

In Portugal “FEIRA” is a fair, but not like here a mere consumers’ event, but rather a platform for interaction, discourse, presentations, experiences, information and celebration. This is exactly the kind of tradition we would like to bring to life in the Oliveira Stables. It’s not about commerce and competition, but – as always with Wu Wei – rather about the best for the horse. We invented a mixture which combines seeing, learning, feeling and participating, together with wonderful horses and great horsemen. We combine clinics and workshops with the presentation of correct horse training.

And don’t forget to already sign up for the FEIRA’s dressage tournament. We revive the tournament in its original sense, which is to check your own work and we reward the winner with the special promotion prize of the Oliveira Stables.
