LOUVEN Working Equitation Cup
Working equitation is becoming more and more popular in Germany. The different sub-disciplines of the sport demand a high degree of speed, control and harmony on the part of both horse and rider.
Competitors have to prove themselves in the four disciplines of dressage, trail, speed trail and cow trials. Riders commonly use Iberian breeds such as Andalusians or Lusitanos or French Camargue horses, i.e. breeds native to the areas where horses were originally used for herding purposes.
At EQUITANA participants of LOUVEN Working Equitation Cup will be presenting excerpts from working equitation competitions in a shortened tournament. To start with each rider will demonstrate individual elements of their dressage routine. Afterwards, participants will have to overcome trail obstacles. The competition closes with the speed trail.
