EQUITANA records three percent growth. Essen. The market of all things to do with horses at this year’s EQUITANA showed a working pace exceeding all expectations of even the industry insiders beforehand. An appetite for business rather than frustration at the poor state of the economy, lively demand and an increase in visitor numbers characterised the Equestrian Sports World Fair. Recording a total of 213,000 visitors, the organisers, Reed Exhibitions Deutschland GmbH, registered a three percent growth in visitor numbers compared to the previous event held in 2007 (207,000).

The EQUITANA Innovation Award for global innovations. Who says there are no new developments on the equestrian sports market? The equestrian community is full of tinkerers and inventors, particularly among the professionals that work with horses day in and day out. Many equestrians are not only trying to make their own lives easier, but especially the lives of their horses as easy as possible.
