EQUITANA wins second place in the Equestrian Social Media Awards 2012
Out of 8,000 entries, EUITANA finished among the first three, winning the second place in the "Best Use of Social Media in North West Europe" category of the Equestrian Social Media Awards 2012. This made EQUITANA the best German competitor in the international competition.
In the award competition, equestrian sports companies, institutions and brands as well as organisers, online and print media, professional and amateur riders or riding schools were invited to take part. Assessment criteria were the presentation in the different social networks, the speed of participants responding to questions or comments, the originality of content posted and compliance with online etiquette.
EQUITANA - the Equestrian Sports World Fair has been active in all social networks such as Facebook, Xing or Youtube. Content is primarily information on the trade fair, the exhibitors, the EQUITANA programme and EQUITANA Open Air, videos and sweepstakes. Currently more than 12,000 fans follow the world's largest equestrian sports fair on Facebook alone.
