German horse breeding is the most successful breeding of sports horses for show jumping, dressage and eventing worldwide. Basic prerequisite for sporting success is a well-planned and matured breeding. At EQUITANA being an international equestrian trade fair not only the German Equestrian Federation (FN) will present itself with information around horse breeding and sport as well as high-quality show programme in hall 10/11 for several hours every day but also the breeding and sport associations from western riding as well as Iberian and baroque riding will present their successful horses and training methods. The governing association of western riding will be located in hall 7, but there will be international flair also in hall 2 and hall 10/11.

You can inform yourself about the sires of the German state studs directly on site. In addition to the breeding associations also private stallion owners will be present and licensed stallions will prove their proficiency level in stallions cups on advanced S-level in show jumping and dressage tests.
